Congrats on being chosen as one of the “Hot Comics of 2010” by Campus Activities Magazine
Carmen Lynch is the offspring of a petite Spanish nurse and a tall American Naval officer. She began her performance career flamenco dancing in Spain, but eventually received her psychology degree from The College of William and Mary. After failing the psychology portion of the FBI exam, Carmen moved to New York to pursue acting. She fell into comedy by accident when reading her journals at open mics: “Dear Diary WTF? I’m 6 feet tall and no one ever thinks I’m Spanish. It hurts.”
Carmen made it to the Semi-Finals of this Season's "Last Comic Standing" on NBC, with one of the most talked about jokes (chickenhole!). Carmen's also been on Comedy Central’s “Premium Blend” and performed on HBO’s US Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen. She also performs on Spanish shows like SiTV’s Latino Laugh Festival, toured as one of the Latinas of Comedy with Paul Rodriguez and contributed to MAD Magazine. She also has scoliosis.
