Richard is an Indian comedian based in Los Angeles. His dad named him Richard because he wanted him to seem American, but somehow people still found him out. Richard worked as a computer engineer in San Francisco for 10 years before quitting to tell jokes. He tried to get six pack abs for a long time but gave up because he decided that fat is energy, and men with abs are actually tired hungry men. His jokes are silly and range from talking about a taqueria that serves fortune churros to a story about the time he auditioned for the role of "skinny guy, not in shape". He's opened for Roseanne Barr, toured India doing stand up, and runs a comedy club called The Setup.

2020 had us all in a bit of a slump, so for our end of year team meeting we hired Richard Sarvate to help uplift our spirits as we looked forward to a brighter 2021. Richard was exactly the comedian we needed. His friendly sarcasm accentuated by his funny delivery worked wonders! He had us all laughing from the get-go and by the end of his performance everyone had a smile on their face. We enjoyed it from beginning to end. Kudos to Richard!

The students loved every minute of Richard's performance. He was a pleasure to work with on and off stage. His jokes were clean and hilarious and made the event very memorable.
