Jared Kassebaum is an LA-based comic whose first album, "The Better Jared,” hit #1 on iTunes in 2023 and can be heard on SiriusXM. He is originally from Indiana, where he misses driving through the cornfields, but does not miss ONLY driving through the cornfields.
 
Jared charms audiences with his unique blend of naive storytelling, witty wordplay, and occasional song on a child keyboard. He’s convinced that makes the songs funnier, even if the venue has a nice piano. A big fan of his PhD biochemist father, Jared planned to be a scientist his whole life. He attended university aiming for a PhD in physics, but the sudden loss of a best friend had him realize he didn’t want to take measurements in a lab anymore. His brand of earnest jokes reflects this—from his desire to wonder at the ridiculousness of life to his scientific dissection of language. At 6'5", he can help raise your town's average height if raising its average joy just isn’t enough.

Jared was wonderful and the students had positive things to say about his performance. He stayed for a few minutes after as well and gave out some stickers and took pictures. He was a blast!
