Reem Edan has spent most of her life somewhere in the middle. Raised between Iraqi and American cultures, she grew up navigating different expectations at home, at school, and everywhere in between — which eventually became the foundation of her comedy.

That perspective has earned her 385K+ followers and tens of millions of views, taken her to the Netflix Is a Joke Comedy Festival, The Stand Up Sketch Show, and stages around the world, and led to work with NBC, Warner Bros. and Disney. Her Dry Bar Comedy special, Ethnic, Ambiguous & Single, is out now.

Whether she’s talking about immigrant parents, modern dating, social media, or the universal experience of disappointing your family in increasingly creative ways, Reem’s comedy is about finding the funny in the space between who you are, who people expect you to be, and who you’re still figuring out.

This is generationally appropriate comedy and Reem is a natural. She connected with every person in the room and they couldn't get enough of her. We got more than we requested in this private show and are still laughing recalling her jokes. Not a diva and very relatable; we might write her into our wills!
